Why and when did you start making music?

VW

Music opens rooms for me, spaces, landscapes…where I can be, exist and discover.
For me music creates possibilities for being myself. Music creates new opportunities.
I was in a choir at school. I loved to be with so many people, all singing together. It was very powerful to me. This group thing.
It started 1990 in Duisburg. I visited friends there…they were playing music, drums and guitar … I started screaming, shouting, singing…and could not stop.

How did you connect with Malka Tuti ?

VW

Kris Baha from “Die Orangen“ who is also on Malka Tuti introduced me to Katzi.
He made the connection. I am very very thankful that he did!!

Some insight on the mix you recorded ?

VW

Alexis Le-Tan asked me if I wanted to make a mix. Thanks for asking —here it is. My influences for the music I make? First of all my family, with whom I live every day. The children, between 6 and 10 years old, at the primary school where I work. Friends who feed me with music, places where I can go to listen to music and dance as well. Some books I read. And… always… the birds……
